The Iona College Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America has decided to
start a student run firm, named Upscale Promotions. Upscale Promotions will draw on the
educational knowledge and public relations skills of its members to provide quality work for
their clients. The firm is being run by Taryn Longo and Renee Ortiz and will draw upon the
talent of the PRSSA as a whole.
Upscale Promotions has set the following goals for this semester:
1. Establish how many members of the chapter will provide assistance in running the firm.
2. Develop organizational and leadership skills and by the end of the semester.
3. Start searching for organizations that would like our help.
4. Gain a good quality reputation with clients and the community before the end of
the school year.
