Joseph A. Moscone
Joe was a founding member of the Iona College PRSSA Chapter and was its first President in 2000. Through PRSSA,
Joe completed an internship with Levin Public Relations & Marketing in White Plains New York. Upon his graduation
in May of 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations from Iona College, Joe went
to work in the public relations department at Cisco Systems in San Jose California. Joe made an immediate impact
and won several company awards and then received a transfer in January of 2001 to the Cisco Offices in Acton
Massachusetts just outside of Boston. Joe then left Cisco in April of 2001 and is now in the Speaker’s Bureau for
AMR Research in Boston. Joe hopes to return to the New York area and work in corporate public relations.
Dwayne Doherty
Dwayne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations from Iona College in May
of 1998. He then completed a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations in 2000 while serving as a
Graduate Assistant. Dwayne went to work as a public relations counselor at The Reserve Funds-A Financial
Institution based in New York City. More recently, Dwayne has become an Assistant Media Relations Director at
Cushman & Wakefield-A Property Developing Company based in New York City.
